Job summary
Yale New Haven Health Services Corp. is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support medication distribution, inventory management, and cross-functional pharmacy operations in a busy hospital setting.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree desirable.
- 6 months pharmacy technician or healthcare experience required; hospital experience preferred.
- Current Pharmacy Technician licensure or eligibility in the state of employment; PTCB certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Distribute medications accurately and efficiently to patient care units.
- Maintain adequate inventory and rotate stock based on expiration and usage patterns.
- Demonstrate proficiency in medication distribution and automation/technology processes.
- Operate and troubleshoot pharmacy technology (EMR, ADS, barcode systems) and ensure compliance with safety guidelines.
- Communicate with nursing and provider staff to deliver accurate information and medications.
- Support departmental goals aligned with YNHHS strategic priorities.
