RWJBarnabas Health in Somerset, NJ, seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Post Intensive Care Unit-II. The position requires an active NJ RN license, BLS, ACLS, and at least 1 year telemetry experience; a BSN is preferred.

Days, 36 hours per week, 7am–7:30pm, with hourly pay range of $46.90–$63.44 reflecting New Jersey market. You will conduct patient assessments, administer care, document in EPIC, and collaborate with physicians.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey Registered Nurse license in good standing.
• American Heart Association BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required.
• At least 1 year telemetry experience preferred.
• Associate’s degree in Nursing required; BSN strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducting comprehensive patient assessments and recognizing clinical changes.
• Providing safe, evidence-based medications, treatments, and hands-on care.
• Serving as a clinical partner to physicians and providers for timely decisions.
• Providing clear, compassionate education to patients and families.
• Ensuring accurate and timely documentation in the EMR (EPIC).
• Contributing to interdisciplinary rounds and coordinated transitions of care.
• Working in a collaborative team with shared accountability and growth opportunities.
• Pursuing ongoing professional growth through continuing education and clinical ladder programs.

Education

Associate’s degree in Nursing

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
