RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Post Intensive Care Unit III at the New Brunswick campus in New Jersey. The role involves caring for a wide range of patients including ventilated cases, with a night shift schedule of 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM for 36 hours per week.

The ideal candidate holds an ASN or Nursing Diploma with NJ RN licensure, BLS and ACLS, and seeks ongoing professional development; BSN preferred within five years.

Qualifications

• ASN or Nursing Diploma required.
• BSN preferred within 5 years of hire.
• Strong communication and organizational skills required.
• Proficient computer skills expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act and standards.
• Ensure patient safety and apply evidence-based practices.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to the care team.
• Collaborate with other care providers to meet patient needs.
