RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Per Diem Registered Nurse (RN) for the Post Intensive Care Unit II at RWJ Somerset in Somerville, NJ. The role is day shift, per diem, 7am-7:30pm, with a pay range of $46.90-$63.44 per hour.

You will conduct thorough assessments, administer evidence-based care, and support families through the care continuum while collaborating with the ICU team. Qualified candidates hold an active NJ RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and an Associate degree (Bachelor's

Formación

• Active New Jersey Registered Nurse license in good standing.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification; ACLS required.
• Associate degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Telemetry experience preferred; familiarity with EMR systems (EPIC).

Responsabilidades

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and recognize clinical changes promptly.
• Administer medications and provide hands-on, evidence-based care.
• Collaborate with physicians and providers to coordinate timely care decisions.
• Educate patients and families clearly to support informed post-discharge plans.
• Document accurately in the electronic medical record to ensure continuity of care.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds to improve communication and transitions of care.
• Contribute to a collaborative team culture and pursue ongoing professional growth.
