RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse (RN) for the Intensive Coronary Care unit in Somerset, NJ. The role requires an active NJ RN license, BLS, and 1–2 years in critical care.

Formación

• Active New Jersey Registered Nurse license in good standing.
• BLS certification required.
• ASN or Nursing diploma required; BSN preferred; BSN must be completed within five years of hire.
• 1-2 years of Critical Care nursing.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and recognize subtle clinical changes, intervening early and advocating for patients.
• Provide safe, evidence-based medications, treatments, and hands-on care.
• Collaborate with physicians and advanced providers to support timely, well-coordinated care decisions.
• Educate patients and families clearly and compassionately for next care steps.
• Document accurately in the EMR to promote continuity and safety.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds to improve communication and transitions of care.
• Contribute to a collaborative team culture and ongoing professional growth.
