Job summary

Michaels in Westwood, MA is seeking a friendly team member to assist customers, process transactions, unload trucks, stock shelves, and maintain in-stock and well-merchandised aisles.

You will support omni-channel processes like Buy Online Pick Up In Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS), participate in safety programs, and promote Michaels benefits; availability to work nights, weekends and early mornings is expected.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Cash handling and POS familiarity preferred.
• Ability to stand long periods and lift/move merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service, help customers shop our store, and find what they're looking for; ensure fast and friendly checkout experience; unload trucks and merchandise duties; maintain store recovery to deliver Brand Promises.
• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and enroll them.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes (BOPIS and SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs).
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintain in-stock store; support SISO and AD sets; assist shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to SOPs; interact with others professionally; cross-trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
