Job summary

Michaels is seeking a team member to help customers, locate products, and provide solutions in a fast-paced retail environment. You will handle cash at checkout, promote the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, and participate in omni-channel processes such as BOPIS and SFS.

The role includes stocking, merchandising through planograms, and merchandise recovery to maintain an in-stock store. Strong customer service skills and adherence to SOPs are essential.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand long periods and move around the store.
• Familiar with SOPs and safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast, friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and enroll them.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POG) processes.
• Responsible for merchandise recovery and store maintenance to ensure in-stock, well-merchandised conditions.
• Support shrink and safety programs; adhere to SOPs and company policies.
