Job summary

Rexel Canada seeks an Inside Datacom / Security Specialist to build and expand the customer base for datacom and security products in the Dartmouth region. You will follow up on opportunities, lead customer engagements, and expand the product offering within assigned accounts.

The role requires prior datacom/IT industry experience, strong sales and communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with senior management on marketing and CRM initiatives.

Qualifications

• University or college degree preferred, or equivalent education and experience.
• Minimum of three to five years of experience in the datacom, premise wiring, or IT industries preferred.
• Excellent sales and closing abilities including extensive knowledge of the datacom industry.
• Demonstrable experience and past success developing and executing strategic plans and increasing sales productivity through sales enablement initiatives.
• Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills as well as strong presentation skills.
• Excellent abilities in areas of interpersonal relations, judgment, creative thinking and prioritization.
• Must be highly proficient in using Microsoft Applications.
