Job summary

Crawford Electric Supply, part of the Sonepar group, seeks a Director of Datacom to establish and grow a leading regional datacom business. You will build the go-to-market team, secure partnerships, and drive inventory strategy across Crawford’s eight-state footprint.

The role requires strategic leadership, hands-on execution, and strong relationships with manufacturers, contractors, and end users. Travel across the territory is expected.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in datacom, low voltage, or related distribution.
• Proven track record building or scaling a business unit or sales team.
• Established relationships with datacom manufacturers preferred.
• Experience with contractors/integrators and end users.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead the go-to-market team for datacom solutions.
• Develop inventory and product strategy across major metros.
• Secure manufacturer partnerships and distribution agreements.
• Recruit talent across Crawford’s eight-state footprint.
• Report segment performance and strategic initiatives to leadership.
