Job summary

Slalom, LLC is seeking a Partner Solution Lead for the Databricks - East Region to shape high‑impact pursuits and design Databricks solutions that connect data intelligence with Slalom's consulting capabilities. You will lead technical direction, engage executives, and guide delivery across Databricks capabilities.

The role requires 8+ years in data/AI architecture and hands‑on Databricks experience, with demonstrated presales leadership and strong business value translation for clients.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in consulting, data architecture, analytics, AI, or cloud engineering.
• 5+ years designing and delivering modern data platforms in cloud environments.
• 3+ years leading technical presales, solutioning, or pursuit processes.
• GenAI, agentic AI, RAG, ML/LLMOps, model evaluation and serving familiarity is a plus.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP data services.
• Ability to translate complex technical topics into business value for executives.
• Background in data modeling, data pipeline development, DevOps, CI/CD, production ops.
• Deep financial industry expertise.

Responsibilities

• Lead Databricks Solution Strategy with sales, industry, and Databricks teams.
• Architect scalable Databricks solutions across data engineering, lakehouse, analytics, and AI workloads.
• Advise clients on Unity Catalog, Lakeflow, Delta Lake, and other Databricks capabilities.
• Develop TCO, ROI, modernization narratives for business impact.
• Drive partner-led growth with field teams to expand opportunities.
• Create reusable offerings, demos, reference architectures, accelerators, and sales plays.
• Guide delivery excellence during pursuit-to-delivery transitions.
