Job summary
Slalom is seeking a Senior Principal Databricks Partner Solution Lead in the Miami area to drive strategy, architecture, and delivery of modern data and AI platforms. You will bridge Databricks capabilities with Slalom’s consulting capabilities, shaping high-impact pursuits and executive-level conversations.
Ideal candidates bring 8+ years in data/AI, 5+ years designing cloud data platforms, and proven presales leadership.
Qualifications
- 8+ years in consulting, data architecture, analytics, AI, or cloud engineering.
- 5+ years designing and delivering modern data platforms in cloud environments.
- 3+ years leading technical presales, solutioning, or pursuit processes.
- Familiarity with GenAI, agentic AI, RAG, ML/LLMOps, model evaluation, and governance.
- Experience with Databricks Mosaic AI, Agent Bricks, MLflow, or Vector Search is a strong plus.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP data services.
Responsibilities
- Lead Databricks solution strategy with sales, industry, and Databricks teams.
- Architect modern data and AI platforms across data engineering, lakehouse, data warehousing, analytics, ML, GenAI.
- Provide Databricks platform expertise including Unity Catalog, Lakeflow, Delta Lake, Iceberg, Databricks SQL, AI/BI, Mosaic AI, and more.
- Develop TCO, ROI, modernization, migration narratives tied to business outcomes.
- Drive partner-led growth with Databricks field teams and Slalom market teams.
- Create repeatable solutions: demos, reference architectures, accelerators, and sales plays.
- Guide delivery with technical oversight from pursuit to delivery.
