Job summary

Slalom seeks a Senior Principal Databricks leader who can bridge sales, consulting, and engineering. You will shape solution strategy, design scalable data and AI platforms, and guide partnerships with Databricks and Slalom teams to deliver impactful client outcomes.

You’ll translate complex technology into business value, oversee pursuit-to-delivery, and help build repeatable offerings. The role requires deep Databricks expertise, modern data architecture knowledge, and proven leadership in

Qualifications

• 8+ years in consulting, data architecture, analytics, or cloud engineering.
• 5+ years designing modern data platforms in cloud environments.
• 3+ years leading technical presales, solutioning, or pursuit processes.
• Familiarity with GenAI, agentic AI, RAG, ML/LLMOps, model evaluation and serving.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP data services.

Responsibilities

• Lead Databricks solution strategy with sales and Databricks teams.
• Architect scalable Databricks solutions across data domains.
• Advise clients on Unity Catalog, Lakeflow, Delta Lake, and related tools.
• Develop TCO, ROI, modernization narratives for clients.
• Drive partner-led growth with field teams.
• Create repeatable offerings, demos, and accelerators.
• Guide delivery during pursuit-to-delivery transitions.
