Job summary
Slalom seeks a Senior Principal Databricks Solution Lead to galvanize high-impact pursuits, design scalable Data & AI platforms, and translate technical work into business value for executives. You will collaborate with regional sales, industry teams, and Databricks partner teams to shape opportunities and deliver compelling proposals, demos, and statements of work.
You will bring 8+ years in data/AI architecture, strong Databricks know-how, and 3+ years of presales leadership.
Qualifications
- 8+ years in consulting, data architecture, analytics, AI or cloud engineering.
- 5+ years designing and delivering modern data platforms in cloud environments.
- Proven track record leading technical presales and pursuit activities.
Responsibilities
- Lead Databricks solution strategy with sales and Databricks teams.
- Architect modern data and AI platforms across data engineering, lakehouse, analytics, ML, GenAI.
- Provide platform expertise on Unity Catalog, Lakeflow, Delta Lake, and related tools.
- Develop business value narratives (TCO, ROI, modernization) for clients.
- Drive partner-led growth with Databricks and Slalom teams.
- Create reusable offerings, demos, and accelerator assets.
- Ensure delivery excellence from pursuit to delivery.
