Job summary
Slalom is seeking a Senior Principal Databricks Solution Lead to shape and deliver modern data and AI platform architectures for enterprise clients in the US. You will blend executive engagement with hands-on technical direction, delivering scalable lakehouse solutions and strong business cases.

Qualifications
- 8+ years in consulting, data architecture, analytics, AI, or cloud engineering.
- 5+ years designing and delivering modern data platforms in cloud environments.
- 3+ years leading technical presales, solutioning, or pursuit processes.
- Familiarity with GenAI, agentic AI, RAG, ML/LLMOps, model serving, and governed AI patterns.
Responsibilities
- Lead Databricks solution strategy with sales and Databricks teams.
- Architect scalable Databricks solutions across data engineering, lakehouse, analytics, ML, GenAI.
- Provide platform expertise on Unity Catalog, Lakeflow, Delta Lake, AI/BI, and related tools.
- Develop TCO, ROI, modernization, migration, and platform adoption narratives.
- Drive partner-led growth with Databricks field teams and Slalom market teams.
- Create repeatable solutions, accelerators, and reference architectures.
- Guide delivery excellence with technical oversight through pursuit-to-delivery transitions.
