Job summary

Segra is seeking a Managed Services Engineer II, Data Services for a hybrid role in the Roanoke area. You will architect, configure, deploy, and maintain Segra's data-services platform, translating customer requirements into robust layer 2/3 solutions.

You will develop automation scripts for provisioning, design IP schemes for multi-site environments, and analyze topologies to recommend improvements. 5+ years in related fields and CCNA preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, IS or related field or equivalent experience.
• CCNA or comparable certification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in systems analysis, network design, or software/script development.

Responsibilities

• Architect, configure, deploy, and maintain Segra's managed data-services platform.
• Translate customer requirements into technical specifications for layer 2/3 solutions.
• Develop and test automation scripts for device provisioning and configuration management.
• Design IP addressing schemes across multi-site environments.
• Evaluate network topologies and recommend design modifications.
