Job summary

Proofpoint is seeking a Professional Services Consultant to deliver onboarding, design and implement DLP and related solutions, and help customers maximize value from Proofpoint Data Security Posture Platform.

You will collaborate with sales, engineering and support to align client priorities with data protection strategies, manage escalations, and translate business requirements into technical solutions for top accounts.

Qualifications

• 4+ years industry experience in a customer-facing role.
• 4+ years of experience in IT consulting or related fields.
• Familiarity with Data Security Insider Threat Management, Endpoint Security, Cloud Security, Data Security Posture Management, and/or Identity Threat Detection concepts
• Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Demonstrated organizational abilities with a keen eye for detail
• Commitment to delivering exceptional client service, with the confidence to engage in-person and virtually
• English proficiency in both technical and non-technical communication is required

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly scope engagements by assessing client operations and business processes.
• Provide strategic program design solutions for identifying, protecting, monitoring and managing data and people.
• Coordinate with Professional Services, Support, Engineering and Product teams to address client concerns and escalations.
• Collaborate with sales to ensure customer needs are met and satisfaction remains high.
• Present updates to management identifying risks and proposed solutions.
