Job summary

Proofpoint is seeking a Professional Services Consultant to drive service delivery for top accounts across data security domains. You will scope engagements, design strategic programs, and collaborate with Sales, Support, and Engineering to meet client needs and resolve escalations.

The role emphasizes working with executive sponsors and technical resources to translate requirements into concrete data protection programs and measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• 4+ years industry experience in a customer-facing role.
• 4+ years of experience in IT consulting or related fields.
• Familiarity with Data Security Insider Threat Management, Endpoint Security, Cloud Security, Data Security Posture Management, and/or Identity Threat Detection concepts.
• Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Demonstrated organizational abilities with a keen eye for detail.
• Commitment to delivering exceptional client service, with the confidence to engage in-person and virtually.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and follow through to completion.
• English proficiency in both technical and non-technical communication is required.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly scope engagements through assessing the client’s operations and business processes, gathering key business and functional requirements, and making recommendations for improvements to optimize Proofpoint technologies.
• Provide strategic program design solutions that allow clients to identify, protect, monitor, and manage their most protected data, and people.
• Work with the broader Professional Services, Support, Engineering, and Product teams to address customer concerns and manage escalations.
• Work closely with your corresponding sales organization to ensure customer needs are met and customer satisfaction continues to rank high.
• Present updates to management identifying risks, challenges, and proposed solutions.
• Develop new services, implement best practices, and assist in customer escalations as needed.
• Deliver innovative ideas and solutions that derive measurable results for top accounts.
