Job summary

Proofpoint is seeking a Customer-Facing IT Consultant specializing in data security and threat management. You will design programs that protect data, work with cross-functional teams, and help migrate legacy solutions to Proofpoint DSPM.

Strong communication and client-facing skills are essential to drive success across top accounts. The role requires at least 4+ years in IT consulting or customer-facing positions, with experience in DLP, insider threat, and cloud security.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a customer-facing role required.
• 4+ years in IT consulting or related fields.
• Familiarity with Data Security Insider Threat Management, Endpoint Security, Cloud Security, DSPM, and/or ITM concepts.
• Clear and effective communication in written and verbal form.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail.
• Ability to engage with non-technical managers and executives.
• English proficiency in technical and non-technical contexts required.

Responsibilities

• Scope engagements by assessing client operations and business processes and recommend improvements.
• Design strategic program solutions for protecting data and people.
• Coordinate with Professional Services, Support, Engineering, and Product teams to address client concerns and manage escalations.
• Collaborate with Sales to ensure customer needs are met and satisfaction remains high.
• Present status updates to management, highlighting risks and proposed solutions.
