Job summary

Proofpoint is seeking a seasoned Professional Services Consultant to deliver and manage cybersecurity service engagements for enterprise clients. You will scope engagements, design programs to protect data and people, and collaborate across PS, Support, Engineering, and Product teams to resolve issues and manage escalations.

The role requires strong client-facing skills, experience with DLP/ITM solutions, and the ability to translate business requirements into technical data security programs.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a customer-facing role.
• 4+ years in IT consulting or related fields.
• Familiarity with Data Security Insider Threat Management, Endpoint Security, Cloud Security, Data Security Posture Management, and/or Identity Threat Detection concepts.
• Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Demonstrated organizational abilities with a keen eye for detail.
• Commitment to delivering exceptional client service, with the confidence to engage in-person and virtually.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and follow through to completion.
• English proficiency in both technical and non-technical communication is required.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly scope engagements by assessing the client’s operations and business processes, gathering key business and functional requirements, and making recommendations for improvements to optimize Proofpoint technologies.
• Provide strategic program design solutions that allow clients to identify, protect, monitor, and manage their most protected data, and people.
• Work with the broader Professional Services, Support, Engineering, and Product teams to address customer concerns and manage escalations.
• Work closely with your corresponding sales organization to ensure customer needs are met and customer satisfaction remains high.
• Present updates to management identifying risks, challenges, and proposed solutions.
