Job summary

Proofpoint is seeking a Professional Services Consultant to help customers maximize value from our data security platform. You will scope engagements, design strategic programs to identify, protect, monitor, and manage sensitive data and people, and drive successful service delivery across security domains.

Qualifications

• 4+ years industry experience in a customer-facing role.
• 4+ years IT consulting or related fields.
• Familiarity with Data Security Insider Threat Management, Endpoint Security, Cloud Security, DSPM, and/or Identity Threat Detection concepts.
• Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Demonstrated organizational abilities with a keen eye for detail.
• Commitment to delivering exceptional client service, with the confidence to engage in-person and virtually.
• English proficiency in both technical and non-technical communication is required.

Responsibilities

• Scope engagements by assessing the client’s operations and business processes, gathering key business and functional requirements, and making recommendations for improvements to optimize Proofpoint technologies.
• Provide strategic program design solutions that allow clients to identify, protect, monitor, and manage their most protected data, and people.
• Work with the broader Professional Services, Support, Engineering, and Product teams to address customer concerns and manage escalations.
• Work closely with your corresponding sales organization to ensure customer needs are met and customer satisfaction continues to rank high.
• Present updates to management identifying risks, challenges, and proposed solutions.
