The Assistant Program Coordinator at Children’s Aid Society will assist the School Age Director in the overall operation of afterschool and summer camp programs, supervise staff, and support data entry for site databases.

Responsibilities include attendance tracking, recruitment support, and coordinating with families and school partners. Flexibility for weekend/evening hours is required, with emphasis on collaboration and program quality.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of youth development principles.
  • Ability to interface with diverse youth and staff.
  • Experience creating curricula and implementing programs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus.
  • Working knowledge of computer systems and databases.

Responsibilities

  • Support the School-Age Director in overall operation of afterschool and summer camp programs.
  • Supervise and evaluate school-age program staff.
  • Conduct daily walkthroughs and provide feedback to staff.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with youth, families, and school staff.
  • Track attendance and manage program rosters and sign-out sheets.
  • Assist with recruitment, registration, and data entry.
  • Maintain confidential files and produce weekly reports.
  • Collaborate with partners and ensure weekend/evening coverage when needed.
