Job summary

MiniMed seeks a Senior Manager, Data Platforms & Governance, to lead data platforms, governance, and transformation efforts. You will oversee architecture modernization, including Medallion architecture in Databricks, and manage pipelines integrating clinical telemetry, ERP, and CRM data.

You will mentor engineers, ensure data quality and regulatory compliance, and partner with leadership to optimize cloud costs and performance.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree and minimum 7 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience leading data platforms, governance, and architecture modernization initiatives.
• HIPAA/compliance knowledge and experience in regulated environments.
• Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead Snowflake to Databricks migration with zero business disruption.
• Oversee Medallion Architecture (Bronze-Silver-Gold) in Databricks for production-ready data.
• Design complex data workflows integrating clinical telemetry, ERP, and CRM data streams.
• Mentor data engineers and manage platform engineering teams and budgets.
• Ensure data quality, lineage, and governance across domains.
