Job summary

MiniMed in the United States is seeking a Senior Manager, Data Platforms & Governance to lead data solutions powering analytics, AI, and product innovation. You will manage engineering teams, ensure FDA‑compliant data foundations, and oversee Databricks migration from Snowflake.

This hybrid role requires 3 days on-site weekly, with responsibilities across architecture, data governance, MDM, AI foundation, and team leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 7+ years of experience; 5+ years in a managerial role.
• Experience with cloud-native platforms and data hubs. Must understand HIPAA/compliance.
• Proven leadership of data engineering and governance teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead migration of Power BI reporting from Snowflake to Databricks with minimal disruption.
• Oversee end-to-end solution design and Medallion architecture (Bronze-Silver-Gold).
• Manage data governance, MDM, data lineage, and regulatory compliance.
• Drive AI/Gen AI foundation pipelines and model lineage tracking.
• Mentor teams, manage budgets, and report to Senior Director.
