Job summary

Medical Guardian is seeking a Senior Manager of Data Operations to lead the Data Operations function, governing enterprise data services, reporting, and processes. You will oversee a team supporting the data warehouse, dbt models, and analytics, partnering with Data Engineering to maintain continuity, quality, and executive-ready insights.

The role requires shaping the operating model, defining service levels, and driving improvements while protecting PHI and sensitive member data across

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in data operations, analytics, BI, or data management.
• 4+ years of direct people leadership experience.
• Experience managing data services, reporting operations, data quality, SLAs, incidents, and stakeholder expectations.

Responsibilities

• Lead Data Operations team; define operating model, service levels, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee data warehouse operations and dbt-based modeling; ensure quality and documentation.
• Partner with Data Engineering and EA to align data products with business needs.
• Establish governance, lineage, security, and PHI handling across data platforms.
• Provide executive reporting on performance, capacity, and priority of data services.
• Coordinate data incidents, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.
