Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Principal Engineer, Data Platforms to architect and guide a cloud-native data platform spanning Azure, AWS, and GCP. You will own Databricks strategy, governance, and a multi-year modernization roadmap, consolidating telemetry platforms into a unified ecosystem.

You will lead architectural decisions, enforce security and governance, and drive automation and cost-efficiency across the enterprise data platform, enabling AI/ML and analytics workloads.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in enterprise cloud data platforms and ingestion ecosystems.
• 8+ years designing and administering Databricks platforms with governance.
• 8+ years Infrastructure-as-Code and CI/CD using Terraform and GitHub Actions.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the architecture and multi-year roadmap for the Unified Ingestion Platform and Federated Data Lake.
• Lead IaC/Policy-as-Code, automated provisioning and enterprise CI/CD pipelines.
