Job summary

Mars, Incorporated and its Affiliates is seeking a Veterinary District Sales Manager for the St. Louis East territory.

This field-based role requires living in the territory and delivering account-specific sales goals by leveraging clinic data and strategy alignment with the Vet BU. Responsibilities include developing territory business plans, building relationships with clinic decision-makers, and delivering compelling data-driven presentations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years sales experience, preferably B2B.
• Veterinary clinic experience preferred.
• Excellent communication & presentation skills (oral and written).
• Possession of a driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Overnight travel required, roughly 20–30% travel.

Responsibilities

• Translate product, category, customer, and clinic data into business opportunities.
• Develop and execute a territory business plan by understanding clinic needs.
• Grow relationships with clinic decision-makers within assigned geography.
• Deliver data-driven presentations addressing Veterinary staff needs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the BU and organization.
• Build partnerships across teams to meet objectives.
• Execute the Veterinary BU sales strategy.
• Work in a cross-functional, dynamic environment.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews and adjust strategies as needed.
• Manage expenses and sales budgets; complete CRM and expense reports promptly.
