Job summary

Mars Veterinary in the United States (Royal Canin brand) seeks a Veterinary District Sales Manager for the St. Louis East territory. This field-based role requires live within the territory and involves growing clinic partnerships through data-driven strategies.

You will manage territory plans, build key relationships, and present to veterinary staff while collaborating with multiple internal teams. Travel and occasional weekends are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years sales experience, preferably B2B.
• Veterinary clinic experience preferred.
• Excellent communication & presentation skills (oral and written).
• Possession of a driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Overnight travel required, ~20–30% travel, weekends occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Translate knowledge of products, categories, customers, and clinic data into business opportunities.
• Develop and execute a territory business plan; grow clinics within geography.
• Establish and grow relationships with clinic decision-makers.
• Develop and deliver data-driven presentations for Veterinary staff.
• Collaborate with BU and org stakeholders (Account teams, Digital Sales, Inside Accounts, Scientific Affairs).
• Build partnerships and work cross-functionally to meet objectives.
• Execute Veterinary BU sales strategy.
• Work in a cross-functional team in a dynamic environment.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews with Line Manager; adjust strategies as needed.
• Manage expenses and sales budget; prepare CRM calls, expense reports, and presentations.
