Job summary

Mars Incorporated is seeking a Veterinary District Sales Manager for the Central South Carolina region (Columbia, Lexington, Greenwood, Orangeburg, Augusta areas). This field-based role requires living within the territory and delivering account-specific sales goals by leveraging clinic data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2+ years sales experience, preferably B2B.
• Veterinary clinic experience preferred.
• Excellent communication & presentation skills (oral and written).
• Possession of a driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Overnight travel required, occasional weekends for conferences; approximately 20-30%+ travel.

Responsibilities

• Translate knowledge of our products, categories, customer, and clinic data into business opportunities.
• Develop and execute a territory business plan by understanding clinic operational needs and grow clinics within assigned geography.
• Establish and grow relationships with clinic decision-makers within assigned geography.
• Develop and deliver compelling, data-driven presentations addressing the needs of Veterinary staff.
• Develop strong working relationships with key stakeholder groups across BU & organization.
• Execute the Veterinary Business Unit sales strategy and work in cross-functional teams.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews with Line Manager and adjust strategies to maximize territory performance.
• Budget and reporting: manage expenses, complete CRM and expense reports, and prepare presentations.
