Job summary

Mars, Incorporated and its Affiliates seeks a Veterinary District Sales Manager for the Houston North/The Woodlands area. This field-based role requires living in the territory and traveling approximately 20–30% with occasional weekends.

The position focuses on executing Vet BU strategy, leveraging clinic data, and growing relationships with clinic decision-makers to drive sales and clinic access. Cross-functional collaboration and strong presentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years sales experience, preferably B2B.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Willingness to travel 20-30% and occasional weekends.

Responsibilities

• Translate knowledge of products, categories, customer, and clinic data into business opportunities.
• Develop and execute a territory business plan by understanding clinic operational needs.
• Establish and grow relationships with clinic decision-makers within assigned geography.
• Develop and deliver data-driven presentations to address Veterinary staff needs.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Account teams, Digital Sales, Inside Accounts and Scientific Affairs.
• Execute the Veterinary Business Unit sales strategy.
• Manage budget and report in CRM and expenses in a timely, accurate manner.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews with the Line Manager and adjust strategies accordingly.
