Job summary

IES, a national provider of industrial products and infrastructure services, is seeking a Technician II - Data Center Services in Richardson, TX. The role supports both physical and virtual infrastructure and drives data center best practices into procedures.

Responsibilities include executing MACs, hardware installation, asset management, and on-site smart-hands support across customer sites within SLA. Requires 3+ years in data centers, two certifications, and proficiency with Windows, Linux,

Qualifications

• Must possess at least a High School diploma or GED equivalency.
• Three (3) years minimum of data center experience.
• Must possess at least two (2) active industry certifications.
• Must be highly proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
• Must meet Company minimum driving standards.

Responsibilities

• Directly support and complete all scheduled data center MACs (Moves/Adds/Changes).
• Hardware installation MACs, including device labeling, power connectivity and network cable connectivity.
• Complete hardware support work orders involving MACs, certification, troubleshooting and break-fix.
• Asset management, auditing and daily work log/ticket tracking.
• Provide smart-hands assistance for multiple customers at various sites within SLA times.
