Job summary

IES is seeking a Technician II - Data Center Services to support both physical and virtual infrastructure. You will drive data center best practices into daily procedures and work across multiple sites.

The role requires 3+ years in data centers, two active certifications, and strong hardware/network knowledge. This is a full-time, on-site position with on-call rotations and comprehensive benefits after 30 days.

Qualifications

• Must possess at least a High School diploma or GED equivalency.
• Three (3) years minimum of data center experience.
• Two active industry certifications.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
• Ability to meet company driving standards.

Responsibilities

• Support and complete all scheduled data center MACs (Moves/Adds/Changes).
• Hardware installation MACs including labeling, power, and network cabling.
• Complete hardware support orders, troubleshooting and break-fix.
• Asset management, auditing and daily work log/ticket tracking.
• Provide on-call support and vendor/security escorts as needed.
• Maintain site security, data protection and proper documentation.
