Job summary

IES is seeking a Technician II - Data Center Services to support both physical and virtual infrastructure across multiple facilities. You will drive industry best practices into processes and procedures, ensuring high standards of data center operations.

Responsibilities include performing MACs, hardware installation, troubleshooting, asset management, and on-site smart-hands support within SLA targets. Excellent documentation and safety discipline are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Three (3) years minimum of data center experience.
• Two active industry certifications required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Directly support and complete all scheduled data center MACs (Moves/Adds/Changes).
• Hardware installation MACs, including device labeling, power connectivity and network cable connectivity.
• Complete hardware support work orders involving hardware and cabling MACs, certification, troubleshooting and break-fix.
• Asset management, auditing and daily work log/ticket tracking.
• Provide smart-hands assistance for multiple customers at various sites within SLA.
