Job summary

JLL is seeking a Technical Trainer for data centers to develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for facility technicians and engineers working in data center environments. You will build curricula covering electrical, HVAC, UPS, controls, safety, and regulatory compliance, and coordinate with manufacturers for specialized sessions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, or related technical field.
• Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in data center or mission-critical facility operations.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC equipment, UPS systems, and building automation systems.
• Proven experience in training development, curriculum design, and adult learning principles.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills with ability to explain complex technical concepts.
• Experience with LMS and training documentation software.
• Understanding of safety standards and industry best practices.
• Willingness to travel to multiple facility locations for training delivery.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver technical training programs.
• Create comprehensive training materials including presentations, hands-on exercises, SOPs, and assessments.
• Conduct new employee orientation and ongoing professional development sessions.
• Design competency-based training tracks for different skill levels.
• Coordinate with equipment manufacturers for specialized training on critical systems.
• Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments and performance metrics.
• Maintain training records, certifications, and compliance documentation.
• Support incident response training and safety procedures.
• Collaborate with operations management to identify skill gaps and training needs.
