Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Technical Trainer responsible for delivering training programs for Data Center Communities Operations teams.

You will design and deliver instructor-led sessions and manage new hire training, ensuring staff are equipped to operate complex data center infrastructure. Responsibilities include program development, lab space management, and collaboration with SMEs to update training materials.

Qualifications

• Experience as a trainer and ability to manage a classroom of learners.
• Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, or 2+ years of in industrial electrical or mechanical systems experience.
• Knowledge of the electrical and mechanical systems involved in critical data center operations including feeders, transformers, generators, switchgear, UPS systems, ATS units, PDU units, chillers, pumps, air handling units, and CRAC units.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver instructor-led training sessions covering data center operations and critical infrastructure.
• Manage logistics of new hire training programs, including scheduling and labs.
• Maintain instructor qualifications and certify observations.
