Job summary

JLL is seeking a Building Engineer for Data Centers in Claude, TX. This role focuses on delivering best-practice operation and maintenance of critical infrastructure—UPS, generators, HVAC, chillers, and electrical systems—to ensure 100% uptime.

Responsibilities include monitoring equipment, analyzing faults, and coordinating work orders and vendors. Candidates should have 2+ years in data centers and strong communication skills; on-site presence required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in data center/critical facility operations.
• Experience with building systems including UPS, generators, switchgears.
• Proficient in MS Office, CMMS, and Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, monitor, and perform preventive maintenance of building systems to ensure 100% uptime.
• Analyze system operation to identify and correct malfunctions.
• Manage work orders, vendor management, and customer-facing tickets.
• Understand and follow emergency escalation procedures.
