Job summary

Ericsson is seeking a Data Center Services Technician to support installation, operation, and maintenance of infrastructure in Texas data centers. The role focuses on rack-and-stack, cabling, provisioning, testing, and safe, standards-compliant work in collaboration with the team.

The ideal candidate has 1+ years in data center or IT infra roles and can read engineering drawings and MOPs. Primary location is Plano, TX, with flexibility for other Texas sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years in data center or IT infra roles.
• Experience with rack-and-stack, cabling, and testing.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and MOPs.

Responsibilities

• Install and deploy servers, network devices, storage, per design docs.
• Terminate copper and fiber cabling with proper labeling.
• Provision equipment and perform OOB management connections.
• Conduct basic testing and validation including continuity and fiber checks.
• Execute MACD tasks and FRU replacements per procedures.
• Maintain installation records and as-built docs.
• Escalate design concerns or safety issues as needed.
