Job summary

Ericsson is seeking a Data Center Services Technician to support installation, operation, and maintenance of data center infrastructure in Plano, TX, and other Texas locations. You will execute rack-and-stack, cabling, provisioning, testing, and operational tasks following Ericsson and customer standards.

Ideal candidates have 1+ years in data center operations, with hands-on experience in cabling, rack, and IT infrastructure, while maintaining safety and quality.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in data center operations, telecoms, or IT infra.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, installation docs, and MOPs.
• Strong attention to detail, safety, and quality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Install and deploy servers, network devices, storage, and infrastructure per designs and docs.
• Install and route copper/fiber cabling with proper labeling and management.
• Install PDUs, connect to power sources, verify power and management connectivity.
• Perform equipment provisioning, hardware installs, and OOB management connections.
• Conduct basic testing and validation, including continuity and fiber checks.
• Carry out MACDs and FRU replacements per approved procedures.
• Maintain installation records, test results, inventory, and as-built documents.
