Job summary

Ericsson US is seeking a Data Center Services Technician to support installation, operation, and maintenance of data center infrastructure in Plano, TX. This role involves independent work on standard deployment tasks, rack-and-stack, cabling, and equipment provisioning while following safety and customer standards.

You will install servers, network gear, PDUs, and perform testing, MACD tasks, and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or technical certification required.
• 1+ years of data center ops experience.
• Experience with rack-and-stack and cabling.
• Ability to interpret drawings and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Install and deploy servers, network devices, and storage per designs.
• Route and terminate copper and fiber cabling with proper labeling.
• Install PDUs and verify power connectivity.
• Provision equipment and OOB management connections.
• Perform testing and standard turnover procedures.
• Maintain records and escalate design or safety issues.
• Handle MACD activities and FRU replacements.
• Keep installation records and inventory updated.
