Job summary

Ericsson is seeking a Data Center Services Technician to support installation, operation, and maintenance of data center infrastructure in Plano, TX with potential moves within Texas. You will perform rack-and-stack, cabling, equipment provisioning, testing and OOB management while ensuring safety and adherence to Ericsson standards.

Ideal candidates have 1+ years in data center operations, cabling, or IT infrastructure and can read engineering drawings and installation documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years in data center operations, cabling, or IT infra.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and installation docs.

Responsibilities

• Independently install and deploy servers, network devices, storage and related infra.
• Install and manage copper and fiber cabling with proper labeling and cable management.
• Install rack PDUs and connect equipment to power sources.
• Provision hardware components and perform OOB management connections.
• Run basic tests and validation, including continuity and fiber verification.
• Perform MACD moves and FRU replacements per procedures.
• Maintain installation records, test results and inventory updates.
