Job summary

IDEX Corporation is seeking a Business Development Manager for Data Center Solutions to grow market share in hyperscale, colocation and enterprise projects. You will lead strategic development, build specifications, and drive the full sales cycle for BAND-IT products.

Ideal candidates have 3–6 years of B2B data center sales, a technical background, and a proven network with contractors and operators. Compensation ranges from $97,000 to $145,400 with a performance bonus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a technical field related to data center infrastructure.
• 3–6 years of B2B sales or business development in data center infrastructure or related fields.
• Experience selling to hyperscalers or large colocation providers is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Market Development for data center projects including hyperscale and colocation.
• Specification sales with engineers, A&E firms to secure design-build references.
• Develop relationships with EPCs, general contractors, and electrical contractors.
• Lead full project lifecycle from opportunity to proposal, negotiation and closure.
• Provide consultative support and assist with site surveys and design discussions.
• Maintain pipeline and forecast using CRM tools; represent the brand at events.
