Job summary

ABB is seeking a remote-based senior sales role in the Global Data Center segment to execute the data center strategy nationwide. You will promote ABB Motion products for data center applications and work with EPCs, end users, and consultants to secure inclusion on vendor lists.

You will drive cross-business collaboration, identify opportunities for comprehensive solutions, and partner with product teams to deliver training and events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (Engineering preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in data centers, motors, drives (VFDs) for cooling systems, power solutions and grid stability products.
• Willing to travel up to 60% (domestic and occasional international).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), Salesforce.com and Workday (preferred).
• Candidates must already have work authorization to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Drive new business growth by exceeding sales targets and developing profitable opportunities in the data center sector.
• Manage key accounts across all product lines, including forecasting, issue resolution, and positioning ABB as a preferred vendor for motors and drives (VFDs).
• Monitor industry trends and align ABB offerings to emerging technologies while collaborating with global and regional teams to execute strategic plans.
• Partner with Product Managers to deliver training, seminars, and promotional events for internal teams, channel partners, consultants, and end-users.
