Job summary

Ambient Data Center Solutions, part of Ambient Enterprises, is seeking an experienced Account Executive - Data Center / Mission Critical to develop, manage, and grow relationships with data center owners, operators, engineers, and contractors across the Pacific Northwest.

You will drive specification, project pursuit, and long-term account growth for complex HVAC and mechanical systems in mission-critical environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in B2B sales or account management in technical industries.
• Experience selling into data centers, critical facilities, or large projects.
• Strong understanding of the consulting engineer/contractor/owner sales ecosystem.
• Ability to navigate technically complex solutions with engineering teams.
• Proven ability to build long-term customer relationships and manage strategic accounts.

Responsibilities

• Own and grow a portfolio of data center and mission-critical accounts, including hyperscale and enterprise facilities.
• Drive early-stage specification with consulting engineers, owners, and end users.
• Develop and execute account strategies for key customers and strategic projects.
• Coordinate with engineering, operations, and project teams to support project execution from pursuit through commissioning.
• Identify new opportunities within existing accounts, including expansions and efficiency upgrades.
• Manage long-cycle sales opportunities from initial engagement through close.
• Serve as the primary contact for customers, ensuring responsiveness and technical credibility.
• Track pipeline activity, forecasts, and key account metrics.
• Represent Ambient and its manufacturers at industry events, meetings, and job sites.
