Job summary

Ambient Enterprises Holdco LLC seeks an Account Executive – Data Center / Mission Critical to develop, manage, and grow relationships with data center owners, operators, engineers, and contractors across the Pacific Northwest. You’ll drive specification, project pursuit, and long-term account growth for complex HVAC and mechanical systems supporting mission-critical environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of B2B sales or account management experience in HVAC, mechanical systems, mission-critical infrastructure, or related technical industries.
• Experience selling into data centers, critical facilities, or large commercial/industrial projects.
• Strong understanding of the consulting engineer / contractor / owner sales ecosystem.
• Ability to navigate technically complex solutions and collaborate with engineering teams.
• Proven ability to build long-term customer relationships and manage strategic accounts.
• Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.
• Willingness to travel locally within the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Own and grow a portfolio of data center and mission-critical accounts, including hyperscale, colocation, and enterprise facilities.
• Drive early-stage specification with consulting engineers, owners, and end users.
• Develop and execute account strategies for key customers and strategic projects.
• Coordinate closely with Ambient's engineering, operations, and project teams to support project execution from pursuit through commissioning.
• Identify new opportunities within existing accounts, including expansions, retrofits, and efficiency upgrades.
• Manage complex, long-cycle sales opportunities from initial engagement through close.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring a high level of responsiveness and technical credibility.
• Track pipeline activity, forecasts, and key account metrics.
• Represent Ambient and its manufacturers at industry events, customer meetings, and job sites
