Job summary

Convergint Technologies, LLC is seeking a full-time Field Project Manager to lead installation, programming, system start-up, certification, and customer training on assigned Fire, Security, and Building Automation projects. You’ll oversee site management, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure projects meet contract scope, budget, and schedule.

You will supervise Field Specialists, Installers, and subcontractors, mentor staff, read blueprints, and communicate clearly with stakeholders while

Qualifications

• College degree or trade school or equivalent experience.
• 5–7 years field service experience in building automation, fire alarm, or security systems.
• Valid driver's license; willingness to travel to job sites.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to read blueprints and drawings; basic math.

Responsibilities

• Oversees overall site management of project(s) within budget and scope.
• Prepares project installation plan and implements job procedures.
• Supervises field staff and subcontractors; mentors and directs work.
• Coordinates subcontractors and ensures quality assurance.
• Assists in project coordination and change management.
• Identifies risks and helps minimize cost overruns and delays.
• Ensures installation quality per codes and company standards.
• Installs, programs, tests, services systems including security, life safety, and building automation.
• Provides customer training and best practice guidance.
• Performs other duties as required.
