Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Field Project Manager to oversee installation, programming, start-up, certification, and training on fire, security, and building automation projects. You will collaborate with a dynamic project team to deliver within scope, on time, and on budget.

The ideal candidate will have strong field supervision, project coordination, and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in reading blueprints and coordinating subcontractors, while traveling to sites as required.

Qualifications

• Requires strong field supervision and project coordination experience.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot problems and drive solutions.
• Reading blueprints and interpreting drawings is essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversees overall site management for timely completion within budget and scope.
• Coordinates installation plans with Project Coordinator and directs procedures.
• Supervises installers and subcontractors, mentoring staff as needed.
• Hires and evaluates project staff, and manages performance.
• Ensures QA standards and communicates scope changes to minimize delays.
• Installs, tests, and services fire, life-safety, security, or building automation systems.
