Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Field Project Manager to lead installation, programming, startup, and training on Fire, Security, and Building Automation projects. You’ll coordinate with the project team to meet scope, budget, and schedule while delivering world-class service to customers.

You will manage subcontractors, mentor staff, and ensure QA, safety, and regulatory compliance across diverse sites. This role requires strong leadership and hands-on technical aptitude.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused with ability to work under pressure.
• Experience supervising field teams and subcontractors.
• Reading blueprints and performing basic calculations.

Responsibilities

• Oversees site management for timely completion within budget.
• Prepares project installation plan and implements procedures.
• Supervises installers, technicians, and subcontractors.
• Coordinates on-site activities and ensures QA standards.
• Assists in scope changes and improves customer satisfaction.
• Identifies risks and helps control costs and deadlines.
• Ensures installation quality per codes and company standards.
• Installs, programs, tests, repairs, and services systems.
• Performs other duties as required.
