Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Field Project Manager to lead installation, programming, startup, certification, and customer training on fire, security, and building automation projects. You will manage budgets, schedules, and project scope while coordinating with the project team to deliver high-quality results and exceptional service.

You will mentor field staff, supervise subcontractors, and ensure compliance with codes and company standards.

Qualifications

• What you’ll need: customer focus and integrity; ability to work under pressure.
• Strong field supervision skills for building automation, fire alarm, and security systems.
• Read blueprints, perform basic calculations and use MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversees site management for timely completion within budget and scope.
• Mentors project staff and coordinates with subcontractors and install teams.
• Recruits and manages project specialists and installers; ensures quality and safety standards.
• Coordinates with project coordinator on installation plans and change requests.
• Identifies risks and helps implement strategies to minimize cost overruns.
