Job summary

Convergint is looking for a full-time, enthusiastic Field Project Manager to join our amazing culture. You will be responsible for the installation, programming, system start-up/check-out, certification, and related customer training on assigned Fire, Security, and/or Building Automation projects.

You will work with management and the project team to deliver within scope, budget, and schedule. You’ll lead teams, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure quality and customer satisfaction while

Qualifications

• Strong supervision skills with installation experience in building automation, fire alarm, and/or electronic security.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems and find solutions in the field.
• Reads blueprints and drawings; strong math and measurement skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversees overall site management of project(s) for successful and timely completion within budget and scope.
• Coordinates with Project Coordinator to prepare installation plans and procedures.
• Supervises Project Specialists, Installers and subcontractors; mentors and directs staff as needed.
• Directs on-site activities of subcontractors and ensures quality assurance standards.
• Assists in coordinating projects and evaluating scope changes to improve customer satisfaction.
• Identifies risks and helps implement strategies to minimize costs and delays.
