Job summary

Convergint Technologies LLC is seeking a Security Project Technician 2 (Data Centers) in Columbus, OH. You will install, program, and certify security systems on varied projects, training customers and ensuring high satisfaction.

You’ll read blueprints and diagrams, start-up systems and provide ongoing technical support. A valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally are required as part of this hands-on role.

Qualifications

• High School/GED or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years relevant field service experience preferred.
• Certifications in security or life-safety systems a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, test, repair and service security, fire alarm and life-safety systems.
• Read blueprints, schematics, manuals, and wiring diagrams for installations.
• Operate, start-up and commission systems and provide customer training.
• Coordinate with project managers and engineers to ensure on-time completion.
• Support customer satisfaction and provide exceptional service.
• Travel locally to jobsites as required.
