Job summary

Convergint Technologies, LLC is seeking a full-time Security Technician to install, program, start-up, certify, and train customers on assigned projects, including small or less complex ones. You will be part of a team that supports customers and grows with Convergint.

Ideal candidates have a strong customer-service orientation, are eager to learn about security and life-safety systems, and can travel locally to job sites.

Qualifications

• Customer service orientation and strong communication skills.
• Willingness to learn about fire alarm and electronic security systems.
• Ability to travel locally to jobsites and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, and test security, fire alarm, life safety, and building automation systems.
• Perform system startup, checkout, certification testing, and customer training.
• Provide routine maintenance and support, referencing manuals and schematics as needed.
• Coordinate with project managers and engineering for on-time project execution.
